Program Accreditation
Graduates of the Bachelors of Science in Nursing are able to sit for the National
Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) administered by the
National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
After successful completion of this examination, the individual will be a Registered Nurse and will be fully qualified to practice professional nursing.
The School of Nursing is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations (IDFPR).
The baccalaureate nursing program at Chicago State University is accredited by the: Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
